Colomba Youth Choir
Junior Devision (Age 6-9)
The Junior Division introduces young singers to the basics of choral music, helping them find their voices and expand their vocal range. Participants explore essential elements of music while beginning their journey in music literacy, learning basic theory and sight-singing skills. Through singing unison songs and simple two-part harmonies, they develop confidence, listening skills, and a sense of teamwork.
Colomba Youth Choir
Senior Devision (Age 9-12)
The Senior Division is designed for young singers to advance their choral skills. Participants learn to sing in two- and three-part harmonies, broadening their musical repertoire by exploring songs in multiple languages. Building on their foundation, they continue to develop sight-singing and music theory skills, enhancing their ability to read and interpret music independently. The program encourages teamwork, confidence, and creative expression, providing a platform for more complex choral arrangements. Through engaging and diverse musical experiences, the Senior Division aims to deepen each singer's musical understanding and passion for ensemble performance.


Colomba String Ensemble (Age 13+)
The String Ensemble is tailored for students aged 13 and above, focusing on the art of ensemble playing. Musicians in this program explore a diverse range of musical genres, from classical to contemporary, broadening their musical horizons and enhancing their adaptability as performers. Through regular rehearsals, participants develop essential ensemble skills such as listening, blending, and dynamic expression. The program emphasizes building confidence and stage presence, with multiple concerts scheduled throughout the year, offering students ample opportunities to showcase their talents. The Colomba String Ensemble nurtures a collaborative spirit, aiming to inspire a lifelong love for ensemble music-making.
